Mark 11:24 says “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” My dear friends, this is the secret. The law of attraction says that whatever you continually confess you will attract. Do you want to attract success or struggles? Do you want to have a successful relationship, business, and life? Well, the obvious answer is, who doesn’t? So, do your words reflect this? If your life isn’t where you want it to be, I would bet that your words reflect that. I’m not saying this to be mean. But the reality is your words do reflect your life. Robin Sharma said it well:
And remember, this applies to you as well. Are you speaking life over your own life? Like I said in the beginning, A few days ago I was at a local mall and I was just people watching. And I was listening to the conversations that were going on around me. I noticed that the people who were dressed in business attire spoke a lot more positive. But, the people who dressed, well, sloppy, were very negative. And it got me thinking. Does the way we present ourselves in public show what we believe? I think it does. This cartoon shows what I mean.
Do you want to attract success, let your words and your actions show it. That applies to how you dress in public too. If you look at the two people in the picture you see someone who is going to be perceived as successful. But you also see someone who is dressed sloppy. What do you think he is attracting? Now imagine him in the office? Do you see him as someone who is uplifting? Or not? The secret is this: you attract what you continually confess. Do you believe what you are confessing? If you are wanting to attract good things, then you need to confess that. You will attract what you believe.
So, how do you do this? One, you begin to confess what you want. And you need to do this consistently. One thing I do is daily affirmations. I’ve talked about this before in conjunction with Dr. Reggie Cochran. Here is the link to his blog for “Affirmations for a Better Life.” http://freeaffirmations.blogspot.com/. Second, pay attention to who you are hanging out with. Do you hang out with crabs? Or with people who build you up?
People will try to drag you down. Don’t let them. Third, read! Yes, you read that right. Read books that teach you how to live the life you want. The secret is the law of attraction which is incredibly simple. You attract what you continually confess. Have a blessed day. Until next time…
Love this from my Canadian friends & leaders, Christian Gingras and Tammy Sellars-Gingras, currently making their dreams come true in Australia! “She turned her Cant’s into Cans & her Dreams into Plans! Now, that is a cool shirt Tammy!” And I’m also doing the one next to it… Someone says you can’t ____ PROVE THEM WRONG! (You fill in the blank), for me, I am going to reach Crown Diamond in Max International! Don’t believe me? Well, just keep on telling me I can’t or whatever you want. You are only p…ushing me forward! And that applies to anyone! If you know what you want, then WRITE out a plan to make it happen! Do you need help? Ask me! If I don’t have the answers (and I don’t all the time) I will ask my own leaders for help. I’m not doing this alone. No one can! Life is what you make it. So if you want to be healthy or have more money or want to be a country star, whatever your dream is, write out a plan (get some help if you need to) and make it happen. It is up to you! No one can do the work for you. BUT if you begin to do the work, you will be amazed at who comes along side you to help push you further. Dreams do come true and not just in Cinderella! And remember to do at least one thing that will push you further to your dreams coming true! If you do one thing to get you closer to making your dreams a reality everyday, then in 1 year you will be 365 days closer to it being a reality. By the way, if you change that to 2 steps, that comes out to 730 steps in one year! Twice as far by doing one more thing! Have a fantastic day!
Joshua 1: 7-9 says “Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” This passage tells how to be successful. If you meditate on God’s Word, God promises in this passage that you WILL BE SUCCESSFUL in versse 8. So many of my friends keep on saying they want to be successful in their lives. And no doubt they mean it! But let me ask you this: what are you doing to be successful? The bible talks about being successful. It tells what to do to be successful. But how many of us are doing what it says? Meditating on God’s Word day and night is not as hard as we make it out to be. We can worry and be stressed out day & night. Well, I learned from Andrew Wommack that worrying is meditating! Webster’s 1828 dictionary defines meditate this way “To think on; to revolve in the mind.” I think of it this way: a revolving door simply goes around and around constatly. Our minds do the same thing! What are you thinking on constatly? The concerns of your life? Or God’s Word? If you are focusing on God’s Word then God promises to make your way prosperous! What seeds are you planting in your mind? Seeds of worry, discontent, and the like? Or Seeds of success, wellness, and things like that? When a seed is planted in the ground and fed and watered it will grow! But what will it grow into? Our minds are the same way. What we meditate on is what we will receive! I am meditating on things related to success and wellness! And because of that I am already healthy and successful! Not everyone has seen it, but in time that will change. I’m not concerned in the least with what most people think! I have a few people (5 to be exact) that I am concerned with what they say. At the top of this list is Jesus Christ! The other 4 know who they are and I am not going to name them. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: you are like the 5 people you spend the most time with! This is not my saying, but is something I learned in 2014. Who are you listening to? What are you thinking about? If who you are listening to and what you are thinking about does not reflect what you want to see in 2015, then you will not be successful! I don’t like to be harsh, but some of you need to really think about what you are meditating on! You say you want to be successful. You say you want to lose that 10-100 pounds. But what are you doing to make that a reality? It starts in your mind! In 2013 I made up my mind that I was going to reach Diamond in Max International and that nothing was going to stop me! Proverbs 23:7 says “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” What are you thinking about?
